Resumen

Colección conformada por los audios obtenidos de la digitalización de rollos de pianola utilizando microfonía y una pianola Aeolian ingresada a Chile por Antofagasta el año 1929, por el Sr. H. Still. Restaurada el año 2006 en Santiago.

Documentación

Esta colección sonora corresponde a la copia digital de dos colecciones de rollos de pianola. La primera del Sr. H. Still, ciudadano inglés que hiciera su vida en las salitreras cercanas a la ciudad de Antofagasta (norte de Chile) a comienzos del sXIX, y terminara su vida en la ciudad de Quilpué (centro de Chile) desde donde se rescató su pianola con una colección de 250 rollos. La segunda colección, de 80 rollos, perteneció a la familia de Sr. Maximiliano Salinas, en Santiago de Chile.
